Kameyama fuuko
Fuuko is the main character of Parfait Tic. She is described as not the most beautiful girl, her looks are average at best, and she's not particularly skilled in anything, which she acknowledges. However, she's just like any other ordinary girl with her share of school problems, friend drama and of course, boy troubles. She is famous for her ever changing hairstyles, as she would like to become a hairstylist one day (if she doesn't obtain a job that has to do with children first)! Nanaji Says:"She is considered to be the most popular among all the characters. Many people say she's very frank, but I often think, 'This kid, she really likes to act strong.'" My thoughtsSome people don't like Fuuko because they think she's "skanky" for going back and forth between the two boys so easily (which I roll my eyes at because their relationships are so innocent in this story). I suppose it's to be expected when you're in the center of a love triangle -- they think the one in the center must have poor morals to be able to love two people at the same time. People didn't really like Adachi Momo from Peach Girl either (another love triangle story). I, however, do like Fuuko and I think Nanaji did a very good job displaying the inner emotions of Fuuko. She did not "bounce back and forth" at will between the two boys, nor did she just settle for whoever was available (though, I guess it did look like she did). Her decision to go go with Daiya, or go with Ichi, was a decision that was heavily pondered upon, not without tears, and it was the circumstances and the people around her that pushed her to be with Daiya or Ichi. I felt her decisions were as logical as any emotionally-driven decision can be, and I was surprised that people thought Fuuko was just playing with the boys' feelings because ... Fuuko? Playing with boys' feelings? She's just not that kind of girl at all! She is a bit needy, I admit, which may have contributed to the image some people have conjured up of her being a playgirl of some sort, but I find her to be one of the most down-to-earth, realistic characters I've ever encountered in any form of story. Her thoughts and feelings reminded myself of my own back when I was caught up in high school relationships way back in the day (though I was never in a love triangle, thank goodness) and if Fuuko was a real person, she is someone I would want to be friends with. Sonata is owned and maintained by Jinny and is not to be duplicated in any way. Parfait Tic and all related characters belong to Nagamu Nanaji. |
