Battle

In Final Fantasy IX, the job system was brought back and now, each character had a specific duty for battle. Garnet carries both the role of a summoner and white mage. A summoner can summon Eidolons, powerful creatures that aid her in battle, and a white mage uses White Magic to heal herself and comrades. Depending on the weapon she is carrying, I found that her physical attacks aren't too shabby -- at least in the beginning of the game.
