Lament Story

This site is for Princess Ashe from Final Fantasy XII. When Final Fantasy XII came out, I really, really hated Ashe. I thought she was a downright snobby bitch, to put it bluntly, and the position of Favourite Character went to Balthier, the sky pirate. Balthier is still my favourite FFXII character, I won't deny it, but Ashe has certainly changed things around as I continued to progress through the game. I found I couldn't quite keep hating her as the story continued, and instead, I found her story touching and sad. It was also pretty cool to have a strong female lead in a FF game for once, and maybe there's something to do with my affinity for princesses and related things. In any case, Ashe is now one of my favourite characters (but not the favourite character of FFXII) and given that there's 8936776 fansites to Balthier, I think Ashe deserved one too.
