Ah, the mandatory clone page. Some people find these pages stupid; I find these pages amusing. These are characters from other games who I feel resemble Tidus a lot whether through personality, appearance or both. All of these are pure opinion and are in no way factual. Since Tidus is part of the Final Fantasy empire (or to be more accurate, Square-Enix's empire) Tidus resembles a lot of characters from their other games. Also, I mostly play only Square-Enix RPG games so ...

Shuyin is from Final Fantasy X-2, which is FFX's sequel. He was the guardian of summoner Lenne, but failed to protect her during the Machina War. Both were shot to death. However, Shuyin's angry spirit lingered on, keen on bringing Spira's doom. If you've played Final Fantasy X-2, you would definitely understand why Tidus and Shuyin are more alike than just where appearances are concerned -- in fact, both their lives intertwine with one another, without each other's knowing. As far as personality goes, that could be where the similarities end. Perhaps Shuyin had a Tidus-like personality before he was taken over by thoughts of revenge and went on a mad rampage to destroy Spira, but as far as the game revealed, their personalities may have been polar opposites. However, they both have very similar goals. Both want to protect their summoner to the best of their ability, and in the end, just to be able to live happily, worry free, with their loved ones by their side. Both seem to like to jump into situations feet first, but Shuyin definitely comes off as the more mature one. Based on what FFX-2 revealed, in any case.

Also, I'm just going to throw this out here: I kind of think Shuyin is better looking.

Cloud Strife is from Final Fantasy VII. A jack of all trades, he picks up odd jobs here and there and eventually finds himself in the eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE, and before he knew it, he had the toughest job on his plate -- saving the world. Cloud Strife resembles Tidus more in appearance rather then personality (because personality-wise, I think Cloud would be annoyed by Tidus. Just sayin'). Both have the whole blonde spiky hair thing going on, and similar body structure when you look at Cloud's recent CG models. Cloud's CG model for the Advent Children movie was based off of Tidus', so there we go. As far as personalities go, they're not very much alike. Although I wouldn't say Cloud is a pessimistic person, he certainly is not as cheerful as our happy-go-lucky blitzball athlete here.

Sora, from Kingdom Hearts, is a young fourteen year old boy whose home was mysteriously attacked by strange black creatures called the Heartless. After being split up from his friends, Sora must travel through many worlds to find them again, only to discover someone is planning something quite sinister to take over all the worlds. Sora resembles Tidus quite a lot! They both have a similar appearance, with spiky hair (although Sora's is brown), brilliant blue eyes, and they even have similar wardrobes! Both wear a special silver chain around their neck, and even both their shoes are yellow (I know! YELLOW!) Even for personality, I would say they are pretty close too -- Sora could very well be the child-version of Tidus! Both are outgoing characters, and protective over their friends.

Zidane Tribal is from Final Fantasy IX. He's a member of the famous band of thieves, Tantalus, and their mission is to kidnap the heir to the throne of Alexandria, Princess Garnet. However the princess wants to be kidnapped, and on hearing her story, he decides to help her every step of the way to prevent the downfall of her kingdom, and later on, the world itself. Zidane and Tidus both have that blonde, spiky hair (although Zidane's is not spiky in an outwards direction), and blue eyes, but other than that, their appearances aren't that similar. As for their personalities, both start off as skirt chasers, but end up finding that one special girl that they are willing to give their life to protect. Tidus and Zidane both end up finding out that the source of the world's strife has them at the very core of it.

Marluxia is from Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. He's part of Organization XIII, a group of Nobodies who strive to become real people once more by using Sora in a great master plan. Marluxia, Larxene and supposedly Axel as well were three members who plotted on how to take over the Organization. Marluxia is the leader of the secret revolution, and is titled the Graceful Assassin. As far as personality wise, I'd say he and Tidus aren't much of a match, but appearance? When I first saw Marluxia, I did a double take because I thought it actually was Tidus -- with longer hair of course. And a more, uh, evil face.

You're probably thinking, "WTF?" because Yuna is on the clone page. This is not a mistake, though please note that this is Yuna from Final Fantasy X-2. After Tidus' disappearance, Yuna seems to have adopted quite a bit of Tidus' style into her appearance (which is kind of romantically creepy). Her hair is styled sort of like Tidus', with the outward flare. She wears a large Zanarkand Abes logo on her top (Tidus' sports team). In Warrior form, Yuna carries the Brotherhood sword, which is the sword Tidus is seen carrying on the front cover of the FFX box.
